Teaching Methods

Teaching methods combine content exposition (aimed at the clarification of basic concepts and terminology) with the practical anaysis and observation of linguistic data sets.

Learning Outcomes

Students are expected to master basic concepts relevant to the field of Portuguese Linguistics, in the specific domains covered in the syllabus of each edition of the course.

Syllabus

The syllabus will focus on structures of the Portuguese language (phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics) and/or their variable uses (situational, dialectal, social and historical). In each edition of the course a specific focus will be defined.
