1. Transport networks and urban planning. Historic perspective.

2. Urban forms and their relation with transport infrastructure and services. Compact, disperse, and polynucleated urban growth. Implications in terms of transport networks.

3. Transit-oriented Development (TOD).

4. Land-use/transport models – from the Lowry Model to the URBANSIM Model.
