Teaching Methods

Independent research work under the guidance of a professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, expert in Surface engineering and nanomaterials. The research may be of theoretical, experimental or computational nature. Typically the teaching method includes tutorial contact hours between the student and the research work advisor and hours of individual research carried out by the student.

Learning Outcomes

Train researchers in Mechanical Engineering, in the branch of Surface engineering and nanomaterials, with high scientific qualification and ability to develop research work autonomously, devoted either to the university environment and for the business environment. To this the student must hold a significant amount of original research that contributes to the extension of knowledge in the research area of Surface engineering and nanomaterials.
