Consolidating and deepening the study of Chinese phonetics using 9 new texts.
Basic notions of grammar.
Getting acquainted with the structure of basic sentences and training their practical use.
Date, time, Chinese numbers.
Consolidating and improving the spoken language through simple, everyday dialogue.
Vocabulary.
The written language (Chinese characteres) and 15 new “ radicals”.
Using the dictionary.
2. Chinese culture
The Chinese Zodiac – History
Chinese caligraphy
Chinese currency through the dinasties.
Traditional Chinese art – papper cutting.
Chinese folk songs – Kang ding qing ge (from Sichuan province).
Chinese prints – a path to a deeper acquaintance with the culture of all the nations of China.
Traditional Chinese – Yangge and the Peacock Dance.
Organising a Chinese Cultural event.
