Learning Outcomes

The dissertation consists on scientific research supervised by an UC faculty member and addresses a relevant topic in the subject area of the course, in the form of theoretical essay that must be defended in a public examination.

Objectives:

Conducting scientific research in the field of integrated urban rehabilitation and draw up a written dissertation or a plan for an empirical project

Skills:

Using the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired and be able to acquire other as may be necessary;

Carrying out research work with autonomy, critical thinking and self-reflection;

Prepare a written dissertation arguing clearly and convincingly about the consistency of the investigation, in particular on their relevance, the validity of the theoretical and methodological choices followed, as well as the sustainability of conclusions;
