Recommended Prerequisites
Calculus I and Calculus II.
Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical classes with detailed presentation, using audio-visual means, of the concepts, principles and fundamental theories. Development of the concepts by presenting case studies that illustrate its application to real situations. Solving practical exercises, which require the combination of different theoretical concepts in order to promote critical reasoning in the presence of more complex problems.
Learning Outcomes
Develop knowledge on techniques of signal analysis and systems in continuous time, in particular for the class of linear and time invariant systems.
Work Placement(s)

2. Fourier analysis of signals and systems in continuous time.
3. Laplace transform.
4. Linear systems characterization with the Laplace transform and Bode diagrams.
