Day 19th:

Designing posterior teeth with the aid of CAD-CAM technology.

Glass vs hybrid ceramics: indications, advantages, characterisation of both.

Practice of digital impressions of posterior teeth.

 

Day 20th:

Hybrid treatment planning for anterior ceramics with CAD-CAM technology.

techniques for obtaining morphology.

Concept of: biocopy, biogeneric reference, mirroring

CAD workflow for anterior ceramic restorations.

Choosing materials and color matching in monolithic restorations. Importance of prosthetic space management.

Clinical case discussion.

Practice in laboratory environment.

 

Day 21st:

Indications for monolithic ceramic restorations in anterior teeth.

Minimum restoration width.

Importance of the Dentist-Technician team.

Extrinsic characterisation vs cut back.

Advantages and limitations.

Clinical case performed by the teachers.

Final exam

Grading on a scale of 0 to 20. 70% corresponding to continuos evaluation, 30% corresponding to written evaluation under the format of a final written exam: 100.0%
