Recommended Prerequisites
To be enrolled in thesis and carrying out the thesis work.
Teaching Methods
Blended-learning, with hybrid methodologies.
Presentation and discussion of the research progress carried by the doctoral students.
The sessions allow for the participation/discussion with fellow students and academic staff of the research work developed. In addition to the supervision of the responsible academic staff, supervisors and experts on different subjects may be invited.
The Moodle or any other platform will be in use for the circulation of materials and to facilitate interchanging among students and the later with academic staff.
Learning Outcomes
This course aims at monitoring the progress of the theses. The coordinators in close relationship with theses supervisors play a crucial role in reinforcing the skills to be developed, namely the ability to handle with rigor and technical excellence research instruments in sociology and to produce, present and discuss analysis and accurate summaries of the outcomes.
