Internship

Recommended Prerequisites

Only candidates who have successfully completed all courses in the 1st year of the programme are admitted to the internship programme and the subsequent presentation of the final report.   

Teaching Methods

In the drafting of the report students are monitored by the faculty member appointed by the Scientific Board.  Students working at the host institution are monitored by the internship supervisor which will be responsible for the integration and personal advice. While working at the host institution, students are expected to carry out the functions they need to apply the input acquired in the 1^st year of the programme.

Learning Outcomes

Internship is a relevant activity in the training of students, as it enables them to build a professional profile. The objectives of internship are as follows:
a) Develop students’ theoretical and practical skills in light of concrete working experiences lived out in the context of the host institution’s real life
b) Develop skills in a specific area or activity sector – public administration, public enterprises, or the private sector – by choosing a topic to reflect upon and apply the concepts learned in the 1st year of the programme;
c) Promote students’ development and adaptation to the working environment and the conditions they will possibly face as professionals.
