Fundamentals of public administration and administrative law.
Teaching Methods
Lectures and discussion classes focusing on the interactive discussion of different methods and instruments and their application, limitations and advantages in practice. In-class teamwork is thus a key componente.
Learning Outcomes
From a content perspective, students should: a) understand the various principles and instruments inherent to the new trends in urban management and environmental management; b) comprehend and critically examine the different concepts within these domains. From a technical skills perspective, students are expected to:a) be able to test in practice the principles, instruments, and concepts learned (for this purpose, the analysis and discussion of real case studies will be provided);b) have acquired (or consolidated) theoretical and practical reasoning skills in the field of plan implementation and environmental management, with particular emphasis on their application within the context of public organizations.
