Teaching Methods

The teaching method is primarily theoretical–practical, integrating theoretical foundations and legal doctrine. Classes are structured around a systematic presentation of the subject matter, while incorporating, whenever possible, an interactive dynamic that fosters student participation—both by encouraging questions and by directly engaging students. The course also makes use of case-based analysis and critical reviews of the relevant literature.

Learning Outcomes

With this course, students should gain an understanding of the framework governing local authorities within Autonomous Administration—including the principles that regulate it and the criteria for defining municipal responsibilities—as well as the most relevant issues in budgetary management and municipal taxation.”
