Teaching Methods

Teaching is essentially theoretical and practical, combining theory, dogma and jurisprudence. Classes are based on a systematic presentation of content, introducing, as far as possible, a dynamic of student participation, either by encouraging questions or by challenging them and promoting the presentation of work in class. Audiovisual resources and gamification strategies are used.

Learning Outcomes

The aim of this discipline is for students to grasp, as comprehensively as possible, the essentials of the European integration process and, in particular, the fundamental principles and rules applicable to the exercise of administrative functions by the institutions of the European Union and their interaction with the public administrations of the Member States of the Union. Essentially, by the end of the course, students should be able to understand the nature and scope of the European Union's executive function and the guarantees afforded to citizens.
