Teaching Methods
Classes take place in theoretical and practical scheme in which theoretical concepts are illustrated with examples. The theoretical modules are expository in nature tutorial, using transparencies and multimedia. The practical classes will be used to develop, illustrate and settle deeper into the application in practical problems, the theoretical and methodological concepts presented in lectures. It is suggested to students to carry out work of a seminar, or solving a set of problems on selected topics of the syllabus.
Learning Outcomes
Developing the main concepts of Thermodynamics showing to the students the physical principles in basic phenomena.
Acquisition competences in analysis of Thermodynamics process and basic engineering systems based on vapor, gas and refrigeration systems. Look up for the energy problems and the role of energy systems for the human life.
Development of instrumental skills (written communication), personal (critical thinking) and systemic (apply in practice the theoretical knowledge) is also an objective.
