Teaching Methods

  Oral presentation of the topics indicated in the sylabus. The presentations will be followed by student activities on the same subjects. These activities include the preparation of sections of papers, oral presentations, identifying hypotheses to test, explaining and defending to colleagues their experimental design. The texts produced will be analyzed by colleagues, according to the process "peer review" of journals. Students will also search literature on their research  subject.  

Learning Outcomes

   The aim of "Scientific Writing" is to provide master students tha capability for efficient communication of their research work. Students will elaborate sections of a scientific paper and will correct articles written by colleagues.

Title and authors. Acknowledgements. Bibliographic citations and consultations. Writing quality. Expressing ideas in a simple format. Final review. Submission of an article. How to deal with the evaluators. Talks. Posters. CVs. Ethics.

Bibliography

   PDF versions of the original Power Point presentations. Scientific papers and papers on ethics and methodologies. The papers may vary from year to year. Some of the papers will be the result of the students search
