Recommended Prerequisites

Previous knowledge of mathematics, physics, numerical methods and construction materials.

Teaching Methods

Teaching of theoretical concepts and general knowledge concerning the issues set forth in the syllabus, including case studies and practical application of problem solving. During the course, students are able to observe some of the relevant laboratory presented in class.

Learning Outcomes

The main objective is to provide the students with knowledge in the fields of higrothermal behavior, fire safety and acoustic behavior of buildings. The student learns theoretical concepts and contacts with current regulations in those fields.

Assessment Methods

Resolution of practical problems in the classroom: 30.0%
Theoretical-practical test: 70.0%
