Learning Outcomes

- manage canoeing in waters of 3rd level;

- know the fundamental aspects of the technique in kayak and canoe;

- know how to transmit the aspects concerning to safety and paddling technique;

- be capable to guide the process of teaching canoeing;

- master the pedagogical progressions of the teaching-learning process in canoeing;

- master the techniques of rescue at sea and river;

- be able to create playful learning situations of canoeing;

- be able to organize, lead and animate canoeing’ activities safely.

- Introducing canoeing. Characterization of canoeing as a sport and leisure activity.

- Technique of kayaking.

- Technique of canoe.

- -Resources/training tools and technical assessment: measuring intensity, observation and technical correction, software.

- Equipment: selection of boat and paddle, repair.

- Hidrodynamics.

- Safety and rescue: water difficulties, personal safety, rescue.Security management and planning in nautical tourism.

- Planning and carrying out activities of canoeing.

- Didactics of canoeing: steps in the teaching-learning process; teaching canoeing in school context.
