Teaching Methods
The lessons will be practical in that the focus will be on pronunciation and clarity of the medium of presentation – English.
In every lesson, students will have the opportunity to
- make a presentation, putting their acquired knowledge into practice, with both prepared and impromptu speeches;
- participate in conversations in groups based on a variety of topics
- prepare and participate in academic seminars
Learning Outcomes
This course will enable students to
– learn techniques for academic and professional presentations
– write abstracts in English
– improve their pronunciation, articulation and voice projection
– develop their listening comprehension skills
– develop their speaking skills
– expand their vocabulary
– acquire better conversational skills
