Recommended Prerequisites

 Introductory course that requires only the knowledge and skills acquired in high school. The subject is taught in Portuguese, so strong knowledge of the language is requiredt.

Teaching Methods

Teaching methods of theoretical and theoretical-practical aim the learning of the discipline. The lectures are supported by presentations with simple texts and diagrams, graphs, etc., with the support of media. There is opportunity to discuss the concepts and more difficult issues.

The theoretical-practical teaching focuses on the subject of the theoretical lectures with the active involvement of students in the discussion and in the resolution of the problems that are provided to students in advance through the web-on-campus platform.
