Teaching Methods

Lectures; presentation (written and oral) and discussion of a research proposal and the different sections of what would be the associated Work Project/Internship Report; seminars.

Learning Outcomes

Objectives:

Main: Examine the different stages of the development of a research proposal and the development of a research plan.

Other: to develop the skills that allow students to critically appreciate, write and present scientific papers, highlighting the methodologies associated with the practice of research; reflect on the general and specific skills for a successful career.

Competences

Read and report on the topics under research.

Discuss and choose the most appropriate economic language.

Search in bibliographic databases and organizing references.

Search databases and build data samples.

 

Formulate one (s) question (s) of research.

Select, analyse, discuss and synthesize literature contributions.

Discuss the appropriate methodology to answer the research questions.

Write a research proposal.

Organize and write a literature review section.

Organize and write a references section.

Write sections of a work project/internship report, making appropriate use of previous knowledge.
