Learning Outcomes
The curriculum unit of Chemistry Laboratory III is a discipline of laboratory nature, where wil be carried out and resolved issues within the framework of quantitative chemical analysis and biological chemical, and having as reference the disciplines of Analytical Chemistry I and II and Biological Chemistry.
• General and specific competencies include:
Recognize and apply basic principles of experimental level all chemical disciplines
Ability to analyze, synthesize and understand
Application of knowledge and understanding
How to use the knowledge gained in various fields of Chemistry
Know choose appropriate methods to solve practical problems of Chemistry
Recognize the potential and the limitations of the methods chosen
Have acquired skills that enable it to communicate the results and conclusions of experimental studies clearly.
Have acquired skills in structured presentation of scientific materials to a competent auditorium and capacity of argument, both written and oral.
Work Placement(s)
NoSyllabus
The discipline of Chemical Labs III involves the practical implementation of different laboratory work in the areas of Inorganic Analytical Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. The discipline also includes mini projects as a way to introduce students to prepare experimental protocols.
Students will be placed analytical issues and of biological chemistry whose resolution requires the use of experimental techniques of analytical chemistry. Emphasis will also be given to an appropriate statistical treatment of results.
