Recommended Prerequisites

The students should be proficient in written English in order to handle all the bibliograph.

Teaching Methods

Under tutorial supervision the student performs a literature review of a specific scientific theme. 

Learning Outcomes

The student should, under the guidance of a supervisor, develop a comprehensive literature search on a topic in the field of Biochemistry and develop a plan of laboratory work to be performed in the 2nd year within of the course of Dissertation in biochemistry or in Internship in biochemistry. This work plan should be properlyjustified and argued (in terms of originality, feasibility, etc.) orally and in writing.

The student will develop skills in research, analysis and synthesis of scientific information and oral and written communication skills.

Syllabus

The state of the art, work program as well as its implementation will be defined by the student in close connection with the supervisor, including choosing a topic and planning the experimental work.
