Teaching Methods

Teaching: Lectures of the content defined in the program and practical classes with the use of calculation methods for solving problems associated with the theme of the course. Tutorial follow-up of the work to be performed by students.

Assessment:

1 - Essay on one of the themes of the program, with oral presentation (40%);

2 - Summary of technical texts (15%);

3 - Frequency (45% with 95/200 as threshold)

or

4. Final exam (85%) + Summary of technical texts (15 %).

Learning Outcomes

The fundamental objective of this course is to develop in students specific skills in forming and cutting processes of materials.

The aim is also to contribute to the development of the following generic skills in students: oral and written communication, problem solving, critical thinking and independent learning, adaptability to new situations, apply in practice theoretical knowledge and self-criticism and self-evaluation.
