Teaching Methods
The following teaching methodologies are used:
1) Verbal methods, making use of the following educational resources: Exposition, Explanation and Dialogue;
2) Intuitive Methodologies, making use various educational resources: Demo, Audiovisual Texts and Writings;
3) Active methodologies, making use of the following educational resources: Group Work.
Regarding the evaluation the following methods are used:
1) Normal evaluation, comprising: a) Written individual test (50%) and b) Working Group assignments (50%).
2) Evaluation by examination, comprising: a) Written individual test (100%).
Learning Outcomes
We aim to study models of human resources management as well as the interaction processes between individuals and groups in multiple organizational contexts. This guidance includes focuses on the acquisition of technical and methodological instruments for the professional practice. The main objectives of the curricular unit are:
a) The study of the psycho-sociological occupational system;
b) Develop a technical expertise on HRM interventions;
c) Identify required skills to lead people and groups;
d) Develop appropriate leadership behaviors in different Contexts;
e) Develop management capabilities, fully articulated with the HRM strategies and practices.

II - Values and workers motivations: Attitudes and behaviors as outputs of the system; Emotions, values and skills; KSA Vs. VBP;
III - Policies, Techniques and Tools of Human Resource Management: Recruitment and Selection; Performance Evaluation; Remuneration and Incentives;
IV - New trends in HRM: Functions Vs. Skills; Expectations Vs. needs; Human Resources Vs. Human Capital; Training Vs. learning.
