Teaching Methods
Students will be evaluated on a continuous basis, by two written tests and one oral one.
There is also a special and appeal evaluation moment, by a written test and, if needed, an oral one.
Learning Outcomes
Give students basic knowledge and skills on fundamental topics of economic science. This will allow students who wish so to complete with more in-depth studies. The present unit refers to what is usually known as “microeconomics topics”.

IV – Markets and price formation. Imperfect competition markets, oligolopy and monopoly.
Firms strategic behavior and game theory.

V – Factor market prices. Labour market, rents, profit and interest.
