Teaching Methods
This subject will be developed in accordance with the program already indicated:
First the Background and brief historical overview; Second Case Studies presentation.
Initially, the classes will be expository and informative.
In a second stage, classes will have a practical and formative character. It is intended that students develop a practical synthesis work through two components. Analysis of a case study, through design, and the definition of reconstruction strategies, through the project, in conjunction with the subject of Atelier Project IC whenever possible.

1. Analyze and understand briefly the conservation of architectural heritage in Portugal.
2. Among the national and international context, develop a critical perspective on the different theories and practices of Reconstruction.
