Teaching Methods

Classes are theoretical-practical, appealing strongly to the participation of students. Teachers proceed to the theoretical systematization and presentation of issues and themes of the program, promoting the debate considering the bibliography adapted to each point in the syllabus. Complementarily, tutorial classes and study training will be available through assistant teachers.

Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this discipline is to provide students with the basic four distinct areas:

1. The post-II World War international political system, its historical evolution and the main actors and dynamics that characterize the international political system;

2. The analysis of contemporary societies, the individual's role and social dynamics from a sociological perspective;

3. The understanding and interpretation of the Economy’s’ concepts and variables and integration of skills and knowledge in the economic area;

4. The  organizations’ management, namely the concept of company as a social organization, its internal and external environment and the fundamental aspects of business management.
