Teaching Methods
The evaluation shall include continuous monitoring of compliance with interim targets for implementing the project as well as presentation and discussion of the project, before the financial planning, at the end of the trimester. It will be also assessed the final document that include all the components proposed by teachers.
Students will be accompanied by a multidisciplinary team of teachers.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop an understanding of the nature of the entrepreneurial process in a global economy
- Understand the process of detection and analysis of business opportunities
- Define criteria for evaluating the market potential of a product / service and the resources needed for their commercialization
- Define the commercialization model to be adopted
- Understand the importance of legal protection of innovation
- Apply tools of financial analysis in the analysis of financing needs and in the prediction of business profitability
- Identify sources of funding
- Financial planning and the preparation of provisional financial statements
- Understand the role of team and identify gaps in the valances necessary to the business project
- Integrate these procedures in the preparation of a summary document embodying the effort of preparation and analysis conducted
- Improve oral and written skills to effectively communicate new business ideas to potential investors.

Students will be integrated into groups of 5 members that will have the responsibility to create a structured business plan in accordance with the following topics:
- From idea to business concept
- Value proposition and business models
- Market and competition
- Characterization of the products and services
- People
- Intellectual property
- Legal issues of business creation
During the semester students will be also exposed to topics related to their business plan, namely innovation, communication, negotiation and evaluation of business risks.
