Classes with expository introduction, using audiovisual media, presenting the concepts, principles and practices of innovation management, followed by workshops where students will apply the tools and methodologies of innovation addressed in the execution of their projects. The workshops will also have a component to present these results (oral presentation) of the groups to the other colleagues.

Learning Outcomes

This seminar replicates a startup acceleration program, ranging from the idea's emergence to the development of a business model and picth presentations to potential customers, partners and investors. The projects presented by the students (team work) can come from their own ideas or based on technological assets presented by IPN.

The seminar includes the mentoring of projects from a training-action perspective, translated into talks and market validation sessions to be carried out with potential users and partners, in order to obtain feedback for business validation (market-fit). At the end of each session, there may be talks by CEOs of startups of the IPN innovation ecosystem, as a way to show real innovation cases.

In the end, it is expected that students are aware of the main challenges of innovation management and are able to create and implement processes to create an innovative product or service
