Optional Sport I: Gymnastics

Recommended Prerequisites

Knowledge acquired in the discipline of Practical Studies - Gymnastics of the degree, or equivalent.

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodology seeks to be an instrument to promote consistent knowledge of the contents contained in the objectives of this discipline and at the same time endeavoring in order to provide a higher learning with practical application in the field, but also based on a consistent theoretical understanding .

The operationalization of teaching methodology is based on an initial approach, the theoretical framework of each syllabus subsequently applied in practice, whenever possible, in gymnastic training centers, depending on the level of development found.

Learning Outcomes

Promote learning opportunities for acquiring skills of theoretical and practical framework especially targeted for the performance of the activity of teaching gymnastic activities, particularly framed in initial training, in the School and in the Club.

Encourage investment in research in this field of intervention.

1-Framework of the institutions and the different gymnastics disciplines. 2-Concepts of gymnastic activity. 3- Facilities and equipment. 4- The competitive performance assessment. 5- Fundamentals of initial preparation as a whole. 6- Systematic analysis of the gymnastic movement. 7- Scheduling, planning and training control.
