Teaching Methods
The presentation of the syllabus topics is based on the analysis of images and texts related to each topic. The teacher will present the different topics, and each student will select a topic for in-depth development. Students present the results of their analysis in class, and the ensuing discussion is designed to help them strengthen the exploration of the different topics.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- Identify the main morphostructural units of the Portuguese territory
- Relate the different morphostructural units to the main rock types
- Know the distribution of the main mountain masses of mainland Portugal
- Identify the climatic diversity of the Portuguese territory and relate it to climatic factors
- Know the current conditions of the Portuguese forest
