2. Resolution of problems in each unit, with and without supervision, using informatic tools;

3. Solving mini-tests in each unit, as well as a final global exam.

Learning Outcomes

Objective: to convey basic knowledge in the specific domain of Earth science data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, with emphasis on the issues of sampling representativity, analytical errors, interpretation and reporting of conventional numerical data as well as georeferenced data.

Skills to develop:

 - Instrumental: analysis and synthesis; information management; problem solving;

 - Personal: critical reasoning; interaction with other experts;

 - Systemic: adaptability to new situations.
