Teaching Methods

Continuous assessment involves the following:

- Oral participation in class;
- Homework assignments;
- Quizzes.

The final written exam is 90 minutes long and takes place in the last class. It includes reading, listening, writing and grammar exercises.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

– understand the main points of familiar topics related to work, school, leisure, etc.;

– use German to deal with nearly all everyday situations;

– write simple and well structured texts on familiar topics;

– describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, as well as present reasons and justifications for personal opinions and projects

- relative clauses and pronouns in the genitive case
