Teaching Methods

Teaching: Seminar session will develop as lectures. In parallel, will occur lectures given by invited specialists, particularly researchers presented their study and research.

There will be time for presentation and debate among students, as well as for collective and commented text reading.

Assessment: Students will have a 5000 word assignment on one theme (or author) related to the programme. The paper should be, always it will possible, related to the thesis theme.

Learning Outcomes

Objectives: The fundamental purpose of curricular unit is to analyse and discuss criticaly the relevant contributions of social work research at national level, in the framework of current socetal challenges and debates and the perspectives e agenda of social work at global level. At the end of Course doctoral students should have a thorough and critical knowledge about the great contributions of research in social work both at national and international level.
