Teaching Methods
It is intended to familiarize the student with new educational technologies through practical work with very short lead times. The experimental work will be divided into thematic groups. Students should have as reference the curricula approved by the Ministry of Education. Diversification of analysis of some practical work in different teaching units will be one of the objectives to be achieved, looking for foster profitability of experimental work on the basis of educational goals and timeliness in pedagogical practice.
Learning Outcomes
To develop the ability to promote the experimental teaching of Physics.
To adapt experimental activities of physics in the context of secondary education.
To develop the ability to use new didactic resources in the physics teaching domain.
Generic competence to achieve:
- competence in organizing and planing;
- competence in problem solving;
- competence in critical reasoning;
- adaptability to new situations;
- competence in aplying in practice the theoretical knowledge;
- competence in analysis and synthesis;
- competence in oral and written communication;
- informatics as a tool for study knowledge
- ability to do team work
- ability to establish a self-evaluation and self-criticisms;
(in decreasing order of importance).
Work Placement(s)
NoSyllabus
Planning and executing experimental activities of different thematic units of classical and modern physics.
The experiments will be performed in acontext adapted to the physics official programs of secondary school. Modern equipment like computers and graphical calculators will be used associated with sensors allowing for the automatic data acquisition aswell as traditional (manual) data acquisition.
