Recommended Prerequisites

All the subjects of the Architecture Integrated Masters until the 9th semester are necessary.

Aproval of the research proposal Dissertation/Project  Work developed in Architectural Research Seminar

Main competences: analysis and synthesis; interpersonal relationships; critical reasoning/argumentation; self criticism and assessment; researching.

Secondary competences: organizing and planning; oral and written communication; problem solving; teamwork; autonomous learning.

Technical Competences related to the use of informatical systems (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Autocad, bibliographical research and databases).

Competences in foreign language - English.

Teaching Methods

Each teacher should organize groups of students by subject, in order to coordinate and integrate research results. Student work will include the following phases:

- Presentation and defense of the theme

- Presentation and discussion of general and specific bibliography;

- Assessment of the relevance of the Seminar Project Thesis presented,

- Reassessment of the structure and methodologies of research proposals in the light of specific objectives;

- Field work / research;

- Writing the Dissertation;

- Formatting of work;

Evaluation will be conducted in public examination, with the presentation by the candidate's dissertation to a panel of three professors PhDs, one being his mentor. A final note is obtained according to the evaluation of the jury, on a scale of 0-20.
