Historical and theoretical knowledge of territorial planning and urbanism

Skills in analysis, synthesis, organization and strategic planning

The access to this course is dependent on being approved in the Design Studio II A.

Tutorial accompaniment to the elaboration of the dissertation of master in project.

Learning Outcomes

Laboratory of Project I A (LP-IA) has as main objective to carry out the dissertation of Master in Project, deriving from the UC Atelier of Project II A. In this UC students develop the architecture project as a subject of reflection and criticism, through a permanent assessment of the design process. Students are invited to write the dissertation that accompanies the design parts of the project, during the semester, in a tutorial accompaniment of the teacher, and when necessary, with a technician or teacher outside the CU. The competences to be developed are academic argumentation, project synthesis, project research, adaptation of project methods to intervention objectives, critical and reflexive capacity, interaction with the various interlocutors, adequacy of the graphic representation to objectives and communicational contents.
