Learning Outcomes

The subject of History of Architecture III aims to enable students contact with the movements, authors and works that are considered more crucial, starting in the eighteenth century, but traveling deep into the nineteenth and twentieth century.

The objective of the course is that students acquire knowledge in this area, and be able to use it in a reflexive approach – allowing development of thought and theoretical construction; and in an active approach – envisioning an informed and cultured realization of architectural design.

Opening access to updated information on determining moments in history it will be emphasized as this body of knowledge can stimulate intuition whether in the historiographical research, theoretical or projectual.
