Teaching Methods
Lessons with detailed exposition, using audiovisual media, concepts, theories and fundamental tools. Presentation of real data and case studies that meet all the needs of students with guidelines on the matter. Visit ambulatory chosen as a case study building. Information gathering and monitoring data. Preparation and review of report. The final evaluation the individual course work covering issues related to the course syllabus (case study report (70%), oral presentation & discussion 30%).
Learning Outcomes
Provide the students with knowledge and skills related to:
- Legal and regulatory framework related to energy audits and indoor environmental quality
- Planning and preparing energy and indoor environmental quality audits in buildings;
- Equipment used for testing and monitoring of data;
- Different power supply vectors and the respective tariffs
- Procedures to implement during the phases of audit
- Data Reduction, Processing and analysis of information and communication of results
- The main corrective measures that can be applied
- Elaboration of audit reports
