Teaching Methods

Meetings for the presentation and discussion of bibliography and the porduction of text for the different projet satges, as scheduled for each session.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular aims to guide the student in the production of his/her doctoral project. The project should be written in about 12 thousand words, containing the subject, the object of study, the identification of the research question, justification of its relevance, theoretical and methodological foundation, expected outcomes, resources, timeline and bibliography. This curricular unit ends with a Qualification Test in which students will present and defend their thesis project before a panel of 3 professors. In addition to this, it is required that at the end of the third semester that students have had participation with presentation at a Conference in the area of communication or published a paper and teaching at least one class in the first or second cycles of area.

Choice and definition of the subject of analysis.

Collection and preliminary study of the literature of the field.

Collecting data from primary sources.

Treatment techniques and data analysis.

Presentation and discussion of projects already completed.

Review of drafts of the thesis.
