Learning Outcomes

a) Systematic follow up by one or more of the lecturers / tutors, throughout the various stages of preparation, articulation, elaboration and validation, of a solid scientific research project, which will be presented and discussed in the Qualifying Examination;

b) The student should be aware of, be able to locate and correctly use the relevant data and bibliography for his/her project, both in traditional or digital support;

c) Strengthening the student’s ability to take notes, quoting and referring to bibliographical or electronic sources, as well as all the skills necessary for the development of a scientific project;

d) Increasing the critical and self-critical proficiency;

e) Encouraging the student’s autonomy, in order to achieve goals through coherent and focused work, according to the expected results and within the established deadlines.

Syllabus

Since the Research Seminar is completed through tutorial follow up (either face to face or via other means and platforms), there is not a syllabus to be developed according to an absolutely strict schedule. In the beginning of the semester teacher(s) and student will decide the methologies, according  to the research project.
