Teaching Methods

Theoretical classes: Theoretical classes are fundamentally used to introduce themes, using the expository method with the active participation of students. From each class students are provided with some notes based on the slides or the printed slides themselves.

Practical classes: The practical classes take place with small groups of students. In these classes, some topics are covered in laboratory terms, others based on problem solving.

Seminars: Presentation and discussion of students' works.

Learning Outcomes

This course aims to provide students with skills in the field of biomedical research, using the most varied models (in vitro, in vivo - man and other animals, ex vivo). Ethics in human and non-human research and the importance of the actions to be taken will also be considered.

Work Placement(s)
