Teaching Methods

First classes will follow the expository method, frequently based on classical texts, scientific articles and clinical studies. Students are expected to participate in the discussions in order to test acquired knowledge.

On a second phase the students are expected to take active part in practical classes with simulation of clinical cases and model puncturing.

Learning Outcomes

The student should get to know medical acupuncture, understand its scientific basis and its therapeutic relevance.
