Teaching Methods
There are theorical lessons in the classroom, and teaching in groups, performing tasks or solving problems or cases. The student will also develop a workbook, which is part of his portfolio, and shall be assigned topics that have to be developed through research. The student will also do a Personal Medication Formulary, choosing drugs in a way rationally structured
Learning Outcomes
Matters that were not done in other courses, such as etiotropic agents, will be taught. Thus, an objective is to know and use rationally antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic drugs.
The student should know the limitations of prescribing in pregnancy and in the young and in the elderly.
The student should know how to evaluate existing clinical research, whether observational or experimental studies.
The student must know the national and european pharmacovigilance system and should know how to evaluate a notification of an adverse reaction.
Taking into account the pharmacology and pathology, the student should know how to make a rational therapy in various diseases, critically analyzing the existing standards or guidelines.

Experimental and observational studies will be presented and discussed, taking into account the robustness of the evidence.
From the knowledge of the pathology students must perform the rational therapy in various pathologies, based on the best evidence known. The student must be able to rationally use the clinical guidance.
They will be taught syllabus on antibiotics, antifungals and treatment of parasitic diseases.
Prescription in pregnancy, young and elderly subjects will presented and discussed.
The national and european pharmacovigilance system will be presented. Notification of adverse reactions will be done in a practical way.
