Learning Outcomes

Digestive Surgery

1– To provide knowledge to understand aetiopathogenic and pathophysiological mechanisms that allow students to systematize the diagnosis and therapeutic strategy of the main surgical digestive diseases.

2- Sensitize students to the most modern therapeutic options of the surgical digestive pathology.

3- Familiarize students with the environment, mode of operation and problem issues of a  Central and Academic Hospital Surgical Department.

Gastroenterology: Acquire abilities to establish relations of empathy and of trust with inward patients and with healthcare professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Clinical Secretaries, porters) of a Gastroenterology Department.

Acquire essential knowledge in: Epidemiology; Aetiopathogenesis; Pathophysiology; Laboratorial and Clinical Semiology; Diagnosis and Therapy.
