Recommended Prerequisites

Students must:

1. have completed with success the previous Research methods/Population Health UC's

2. Have good proficiency in english language reading

3. Have good skills to do scientific databases research

Teaching Methods

The UC will use two main teaching methods:

1. Tutorial teaching of the concepts included in the syllabus

2. Intensive uso of published scientific papers for student study and training

Learning Outcomes

The present UC is part of the Research methdos/Population Health area, in a teaching vertical perspetive, using previous syllabus of the area.

The goals are:

1. To integrate epidemiologic metthodogies with biostatistics techniques in the epidemiological research process

2. To perform literature systematic research

3. To begin the preparation of scientific research protocols
