1.Theoretical classes ( with power point presentations) and practicals.

2.Software commonly used in population genetics and phylogenetic analysis (Phylips, BioEdit among others).

- Knowledge and understanding of advanced concepts in genetics of human populations (GPH).

- Ability to formulate problems based on the knowledge gained in the discipline.

- Critical assessment of assumptions, concepts and empirical data in GPH and evolution

- Appropriate use of software for phylogenetic analysis and population genetics

- Ability to work effectively independently and in groups.
