Workshops, seminars, analysis of recorded lesson excerpts, oral presentations and discussions.

Learning Outcomes

Based on their own experience as graduates in modern languages, participants are expected to

– reflect critically on FL teaching methods past and present;

– understand and use basic concepts and terminology of language teaching;

– explore techniques for teaching the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and systemic aspects of language.

At the end of the course, students should have a basic acquaintance with some of the main areas of theory and practice in teaching English as a foreign language.
