Recommended Prerequisites
Knowledge of statistical analysis of data, descriptive and exploratory (equivalent to those obtained in the disciplines of data analysis of the degree in Geography). Knowledge of calculating computers programs.
Teaching Methods
The unit works on theoretical and practical sessions with presentation, discussion and interpretation of results using statistical software and a set of exercises.
Learning Outcomes
Acquisition/consolidation of a set of skills for collecting, organizing, processing and analysis of data in the field of Geography, focusing on the acquisition of knowledge and competence in data description, analysis of relationships between variables and application/interpretation of multivariate statistical techniques.
