1) Theoretical and applied explanations by the teacher
2) Exercises on logic and argumentation
3) Reading, commentary and interpretation of texts
4) Oral and written presentations by the students
Learning Outcomes
The students must be able of: 1) To have an overview of the place of logic and argumentation in the philosophy teaching nowadays. 2) To teach the fundamental concepts of propositional and predicate logic at the secondary school level. 3) To teach, at that level, the fundamental concepts of rhetoric and argumentation, in particular, those which concern the theory of fallacies and the connection between rhetoric and society.

2. Elaboration of a basic and coherent programme: strategies and scientific/pedagogical skills.
3. Applications to formal logic.
4. Applications to rhetoric and argumentation theory.
5. The contents of the programme and the problem of the resources to its teaching at the secondary school level.
