- Offer students the possibility of becoming aware of major contemporary world problems, especially those connected with the fundamental values of free speech, religious choices, the rights of ethnic minorities, and major gender issues.
- Enlarge the scientific culture in the field of arts and humanities.
- Give a larger understanding of data treatment, critical analysis, hypothesis, and theories.
- Help students become aware of the ethical and civic dimensions of teaching.
